A little piece of paradise on the Cape`s West Coast.

Whatever you have in mind for your vacation, there is something for all tourists in Langebaan.

The white Caribbean-like beaches surrounding the lagoon, are one of the main attractions of Langebaan.

The interesting ecological history of Langebaan can be viewed at the West Coast Fossil Park.

The West Coast National Park, gives an insight to the huge variety of fauna & flora, which this unique eco-system of Langebaan has to offer.

In the olden days, the Dutch settlers, made Saldanha bay the first, safe port of call after the long journey down the African West Coast.Finding their way through the deep water channel into the lagoon, they reffered to this waterway as "Die Baan", thus giving Langebaan it`s name.
