CARTERS ARTS AND CRAFTS houses an art gallery where guests can view the work of some of the town's own artists. Apart from the gallery, the shop provides any art or crafting supplies and John Carter does professional framing. Elsje Carter is an artist in her own right (oil, watercolour and pastel) and her handmade beads have been exported worldwide under the CARTERS BEADS label. Their daughter Paula manages the shop where supplies and handmade gifts (made only by locals)can be bought, including a wide variety of beads and beadwork, fabric paints, decoupage, bisque, soap and candlemaking, paints, brushes, easels, canvasses, and much more.
