![]() The Transport Museum, located on the edge of the town is set in a victorian style building and features a remarkable collection of vintage cars and trains in all styles and brands and is defenitely a must see for the curious eye. Spacious, tranquil and stylish, the museum is also available for conferences, funtions and weddings. Of note, next to the museum, is a large, grassy field which was once a cricket pitch. The first international game of cricket played in South Africa was at Matjiesfontein on this very field. Hard to believe, but then that is Matjiesfontein. Entrance to the museum is R5 per person.
