Sunbird Mountain Retreat & Lodge (Cape Town Accommodation)

By Sunbirdlodge on Sunday, September 07, 2003 - 08:58 am: Edit Post

Escape to peace & tranquillity in our forested mountain paradise a stones throw away from the major attractions of the Cape Peninsula.

Nestling on the back slope of the “Twelve Apolstles” in an oasis of greenery, lies Sunbird Mountain Retreat , in the beautiful Hout Bay Valley, adjacent to the unspoilt indigenous Orangekloof Nature Reserve.

We offer both B&B and self catering accommodation.

Our Guest House has 3 spacious upstairs double rooms with full en-suite facilities, telephone & internet facilities, coffee tray & magnificent forest & mountain vistas.

Our downstairs family room consists of two adjoining rooms, with doors leading out of each onto a paved area & from here it is a short walk to the pool.

Scrumptious, hearty breakfasts are served by your host Ken.

Our 3 individually furnished self catering units are ideal for discerning couples.

The secluded pool lies in an amphitheatre created by the surrounding mountains, which are a treat to view & even more delightful & exciting to walk.

A wonderful escape from a busy day exploring the Peninsula or working.

Sunbird Mountain Lodge lies on the opposite side of the Valley, overlooking the Orangekloof Nature Reserve, encircled by a breathtaking mountain panorama, offering 2 self-catering units. Our double bedroom units are furnished with flair & crafted in maple. They are set in a harmonious garden, featuring a pool and Koi pond, which invites you to relax and enjoy your leisure time.
