The Lemon Room is situated in a quiet suburb close to Cavendish Square. We are an easy walk to Newlands Rugby and Cricket Grounds. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are approximately five minutes away by car. The Constantia Winelands are ten or fifteen minutes drive from The Lemon Room. In fact all places of beauty and interest in Cape Town are easily accessible from The Lemon Room.
The room is well equipped with a television, kettle, hairdryer, tea making facilities and a clock/radio with alarm. There is a comfortable double bed with duvet and fresh cotton linen. A cotton blanket to use on hot nights is kept in the chest of drawers. The en suite bathroom is cleaned daily and there are plenty of large towels. Depending on the season we can provide either a floor fan or heater.
Breakfast is served in the dining room but can also be served under the grape vine on warm mornings. A Continental Breakfast is served consisting of fruit juice, a freshly made fruit salad, a selection of yoghurt and cereals, croissant, muffin and toast with marmalade and jams. There is a choice of Tea or Coffee depending on your preference.
Guests are invited to use the pool and stoep area to relax on hot sunny days. Towels can be provided on request. The small table and chairs under the grape vine is a shady area to cool off after too much sunshine.
Paperback Novels and Magazines are kept in the room for peoples’ interest.
We try our best to accommodate everyone’s needs and our aim is to make our guests’ stay at The Lemon Room a happy and pleasant experience.
