De Waterkant is one of Cape Towns most trendy areas, excellent local restaurants, picturesque outdoor cafes, art galleries, boutiques and antique shops are waiting to be explored.
De Waterkant Lodge originally built over 150 years ago, has been carefully restored and furnished with a collection of beautiful Cape antiques. Offering 4 rooms in the Main Lodge and 4 in the Annexe, all rooms have either private or en-suite bathrooms.
Guests in the Lodge and Annexe enjoy access to the swimming pool and sauna. In the evening enjoy a drink on our rooftop patio contemplating the magnificent views of Table Mountain, the harbour and the city.
We also offer fully serviced two bedroomed cottages for self-catering guests. The cottages have been gracefully restored and elegantly furnished. Fully equipped kitchens make them a home from home: ideal for families, and tourists on holiday or for visitors conducting business in Cape Town. Breakfast can be enjoyed at the Lodge.
De Waterkant Lodge and Cottages overlook the Bay, the City and famous Table Mountain. Five minutes walk from the city centre, and just fifteen minutes walk from the V&A Waterfront, De Waterkant Lodge and Cottages are the perfect base from which to explore Cape Town. Beautiful Clifton and Camps Bay beaches are only a few minutes drive away. Tours of the city and the winelands can be arranged.
