In the town of:
Cape Town South Peninsula:
Seaforth Restaurant - Seaforth beach - Simon's Town
From a slip found during clearing out my wallet and from a memory of less than a month ago:
Seaforth Restaurant - Seaforth beach - Simon's Town - Tel. 786-4810
Had been there for lunch before, on a very hot summer's day, and formed an opinion then that this restaurant would be too cold on a winter's evening. Maybe it was the cane furniture and the painted cement floor . . . .
However, we went for an evening, on a friend's recommendation, and found that some changes had been made. We found the place to be quite warm, even without any fires in the newly installed fireplaces. The lighting was impressive.
Service was professional and the menu interesting. One of the few restaurants in the South Peninsula where important business colleagues can be taken.

Cajun Calamari (Main) R54
T-Bone Steak R68
Lemon Meringue R22 (huge!)
Dom Pedro R14
From past experience, parking will be problematic during sunny days. The beach is extremely popular on sunny weekends - lots of bussed-in extended family's crammed on blankets and unfortunately some liquor abuse in the hot sun too.
