In the town of:
Cape Town South Peninsula:
Cobbs At The Cape - Restaurant - Scarborough
One of only about three restaurants to watch the sun set over the sea, although the view from Cobbs is interrupted by some house roofs.
Food is generally very good. We have been disappointed by the freshness (crispness) of the salads sometimes.
No corkage is charged for the first one or two bottles of wine that you bring along.
Parking is a pleasure, with no car guards required.
Large house salad R38 (for two people as a starter, or for one as a main course)
Ricotta/Spinach canneloni R45
Alfredo Tagliatelle R46
Malva Pudding R27
Choc Fudge pudding R27
The waitstaff is very variable - some are good, others are completely inexperienced.
