The Harold Porter National Botanical Garden that provides visitors with an opportunity to wander through clearly marked, natural fynbos. This little treasure lies in the foothills of the Kogelberg mountains. Well-maintained footpaths (some are wheelchair accessible) allow visitors to stroll up to magnificent waterfalls and rock pools while learning about the botanical wonders of the area.

I remember going to the Harold Porter nature reserve in the 1960's for tea and scones on a Sunday afternoon, and strangely enough, havn't been back since.
The gardens, and multiple footpaths are surely still magnificent, but how is the restaurant on the tea and scones these days?
