The town is packed with many historic buildings dating back to the early 1700ís. Numerous interesting fables and tales are imbedded in its rich historic roots.

∑ The Stellenbosch University is internationally known and it forms the back bone of education and tradition of young lives. The oak lined streets have seen the likes of well known leaders and public figures, and an abundance of international students flock to Stellenbosch each year.
