Mountains, farmsteads and vineyards, this is Franschhoek. Rich in History and bubbling in culture, the valley offers tourists a sophisticated holiday. The weather is Mediterranean with most of it’s rainfall in winter and long hot summers. At the end of the main road, the Huguenot Monument celebrates the arrival of the Huguenots. The Monument’s Museum was set up to research and document Franschhoek’s rich history.
